Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira is a Brazilian actress born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo. She is a well-known actress by her roles in Woman on Top (2000) Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently overseeing the Assassination Witness project and one of the core members of GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. The GI TOC's research focuses on murders (including disappearances) or violence as well as different types of crimes in relation to illicit economies. Her research interests focus on the effects of organized crime on human and humanitarian rights, and policies and laws. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with honors on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She holds a LL.M. in Public Law, as well as an MBA in international relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula is a graduate of The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree in Legal Sciences and Social Sciences. She is a qualified lawyer who worked at a law firm focusing on litigating in the public sector for more than four years. Other past experience includes assisting for non-governmental organizations that have their headquarters in Rio de Janeiro.
