Robyn Rihanna Fenty popularly known as Rihanna is a Barbadian singer-songwriter who gave us hit songs such as Pon de Replay SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular performer who has sold more than 41 million albums worldwide and over 150 million songs. Her parents are born in Barbados She began singing as a child. Afraid of their chaotic home life as well as the constant arguments between her parents she immersed herself in music and eventually realized that she wanted to become a professional musician. When she was still in high school, she formed a music group, and was asked to audition for Evan Rodgers. The producer was impressed by the talents of this young lady. To earn a living as a professional musician she was asked to move in New York. Rihanna became an instant hit after her debut album debuted on the marketplace. The singer was popular among the youth for her peppy, foot-tapping music. It led to her becoming a director. Young and talented, Rihanna is now regarded as both a teen-idol and a fashion idol. Rihanna is also involved with charities and makes use of her fame.
